Doubleheader Scheduled for August 25 with Harrisburg

New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release


MANCHESTER, N.H. - In order to make up a game that was suspended in Harrisburg, Pa., the Fisher Cats have scheduled a modified doubleheader for Monday, August 25 at 6:05 p.m. at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. The doubleheader will allow the Fisher Cats and the Harrisburg Senators to complete the suspended game in Harrisburg on July 27.

The doubleheader will start in the bottom of the 12th inning with the Fisher Cats leading 9-7. Harrisburg is up to bat as the home team with one out and a man on second base. After the conclusion of the suspended game there will be approximately a 30-minute intermission and the teams will play the regularly scheduled nine inning game. The Fisher Cats will be the home team for that game and the remainder of the series.

Tickets for August 25 are good for both games of the single-admission doubleheader.

The Fisher Cats return home on Thursday to start a four-day, five-game homestand with the Reading Fightin Phils. On Thursday, it's WMUR CHaD Night with an Atlas Fireworks Show after the game and a visit by the Red Sox World Series Trophies from 2004, 2007, and 2013. Fifty percent of ticket proceeds will be donated to the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock courtesy of WMUR and the Fisher Cats.
