B-Mets Playoff Tickets to Go on Sale Monday

BINGHAMTON, NY - Sitting in second place in the Eastern Division with a 64-46 record, the Binghamton Mets are poised to punch their ticket to the postseason in consecutive seasons for the first time in franchise history. The club, owning a 10.5-game lead for the final playoff position, is happy to announce that playoff tickets will be available for purchase starting Monday, August 4 at 9:00 AM. Fans can buy tickets for the 2014 playoff run at the NYSEG Stadium box office, online at www.bmets.com or over the phone by calling (607)723-METS.

Tickets will be available for the regular box office prices of $11 for box seats or $9 for reserved grandstand seats (children 14 and under and seniors 60 and over will receive a $2 discount off each price).

No rain checks are available for playoff games affected by the weather. If a contest is rained out, it will be played the following day and the entire series schedule gets shifted forward one day. Playoff tickets are undated and are simply marked "Home Playoff Game #1" or "Home Playoff Game #2", etc. Tickets will be good whenever that game is played.

With their magic number to clinch a playoff spot down to 23, the B-Mets (64-46) open a four-game series against the Bowie Baysox on Thursday at 6:35 PM. RHP Matt Bowman takes the mound against Matt Bischoff. The Horizons Federal Credit Union Pregame Show, starting at 6:20 PM, can be heard on News Radio 1290 WNBF and on the Binghamton Mets Baseball Network via the TuneIn App.
