
Doubledays 3-Run Eighth Inning Dooms Cutters

Williamsport Crosscutters News Release
The Cutters bullpen which has been a bright spot in the early portion of the season surrendered 3 runs in the bottom of the eighth inning at Falcon Park in Auburn, New York Friday night.
The Cutters were leading 3-2 going into the inning and end up losing 5-3.
Cutters LF Matt Shortall was 3-3 with a double and a run scored in the loss.
Cord Sandberg extended his hitting streak to eight games with a 2-run homer in the sixth inning.
With the loss the Crosscutters fall back to the .500 mark.
