Donati And McKenzie Rejoin Jackals; Lincourt And Fogarty Released

ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, proud member of the ECHL, announced today that right wing Tyler Donati has been assigned to the Jackals by the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League while the Ottawa Senators (NHL) have reassigned right wing Jim McKenzie from Binghamton (AHL) to Elmira. In other roster moves, the Jackals released forwards Maxime Lincourt and Tanner Fogarty.
Donati, a 21-year old rookie under contract to Binghamton, makes his third stop in Elmira this season after picking up three assists in two games with the Jackals earlier this season. All three assists came in a 6-2 win over Trenton February 19th. In 53 games with the Senators, Donati has six goals and 12 assists for 18 points. Last year with Belleville of the Ontario Hockey League, he piled up 129 points in 66 games with the Bulls. With an eye towards the upcoming Kelly Cup playoffs, Donati needs three more games with the Jackals to qualify for the playoff roster.
McKenzie, 23, has two goals and one assist for three points in 18 games with the Senators this year. In 39 games with Elmira, McKenzie has seven goals and 14 points with 39 penalty minutes.
Lincourt, acquired in a February 8th trade with the Bakersfield Condors, picked up his first professional goal with the Jackals in a 3-2 overtime win in Johnstown March 8th. In 19 games with Elmira, Lincourt picked up a goal and four assists for five points after registering three assists in 16 games with the Condors prior to the trade.
Fogarty was signed on February 29th by the Jackals following his release by the Wheeling Nailers. In 18 games overall (12 with Elmira), the Holy Cross graduate was pointless with eight penalty minutes and a -7 rating.

The Elmira Jackals wrap up a five-game home stand Wednesday night against the Trenton Devils in a 7:05 p.m. face-off at First Arena. It marks the final of three Jackals Trading Card Giveaway Nights with the first 2,000 fans entering the arena receiving the commemorative cards featuring your favorite Jackals.
