Killing Machine!: Over their last 12 games the Everblades have been stellar on the penalty kill, holding their opponents to just six power play goals on 66 chances, for an impressive 91.0% kill rate. During one stretch over the 12-game span, the Everblades killed off 37 straight power play opportunities from Feb. 29 at Pensacola until Mar. 14 at Columbia.

The streak began with a 4-1 win on February 9 vs. Augusta. Earlier this season the Everblades strung together a six-game winning streak on home ice as well. For those wondering, the all-time Everblades record for longest home winning streak is 12 done during the 2005-06 season.
