West Sacramento, Calif. - Josh Donaldson's three-hit, three-RBI night lifted the Sacramento River Cats to a 7-1 win over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox Tuesday night at Raley Field.

The Cats fell behind 1-0 after two innings, but tallied seven unanswered runs to take the second game of the four-game set. Donaldson singled twice and doubled, and Brandon Moss homered for the second-consecutive night, leading the Cats' 12-hit attack. Sacramento scored a pair of unearned runs as well, as the Sky Sox committed four errors.

River Cats starter Graham Godfrey (2-0) threw 72 of his 91 pitches for strikes Tuesday, striking out five without walking a batter. With the win, Godfrey improved to 16-3 over his last 20 Triple-A starts.

The loss fell to Colorado Springs starter Alex White (1-3), who gave up three runs-two earned-in 4.2 innings pitched.

Moss' sixth home run of the season was one of four River Cats extra-base hits on the night. Michael Taylor chipped in with his 12th double of the year, while Grant Green finished two-for-four with a two-base hit of his own.

Sacramento and Colorado Springs square off in a matinee Wednesday afternoon, with first pitch set for 12:05 p.m. Cats RHP Travis Banwart (2-1, 6.26 ERA) will be opposed by Sky Sox RHP Tyler Chatwood (0-0, 3.38 ERA) at Raley Field for a 9 Innings at Noon Business Person's Special presented by yp.com.
