Albuquerque, N.M. -- With none on and two outs in the ninth inning, the Oklahoma City RedHawks (17-10) rallied for four runs to claim a 4-1 victory over the Albuquerque Isotopes (15-12) before 6,670 at Isotopes Park Wednesday night.

With Albuquerque leading 1-0 heading into the ninth, Isotopes closer Josh Wall (1-1) retired the first two batters of the inning. Brett Wallace and Jimmy Paredes followed with back-to-back doubles to tie the game, 1-1. Wall had converted all six of his previous six save opportunities until Wednesday.

Brad Snyder and Carlos Corporan followed with walks to load the bases for pinch-hitter Justin Ruggiano. The Isotopes made a pitching change and brought in Ryan Tucker, and Ruggiano sent a 3-2 pitch off the wall in center field for a bases-clearing double to make it 4-1.

Jose Valdez didn't have any trouble in the bottom of the inning, retiring the Isotopes in order to collect his fifth save of the season.

The game was a pitchers' duel for the majority of the night. Neither team scored through six innings, with the RedHawks' Aneury Rodriguez and Albuquerque's Mike Parisi matching zeroes.

The Isotopes broke through in the seventh. With a runner at second and one out, Joe Becker lined a double to center field to score Jerry Sands and put the Isotopes ahead 1-0.

It was one of the scant miscues by Rodriguez, who turned in his best outing of the year. He went a season-high seven innings, allowing just one run and seven hits with one walk and six strikeouts.

Parisi was a tick better, tossing seven scoreless. He allowed just four hits with two walks and seven strikeouts.

Instead of a win, Parisi had to settle for a no decision. RedHawks reliver Adalberto Flores (1-0) got his first win of the season instead after throwing a scoreless eighth.

The RedHawks will try and earn a split when they finish their four-game series in Albuquerque Thursday night at 7:35 p.m. Central Time. Live coverage begins at 7:05 p.m. on 1340 AM The Game, 1340thegame.com, and through the free IHeartRadio app on your mobile device.
