AUGUSTA, Ga. - Augusta's Chris Dominguez drilled a walkoff solo home run in the bottom of the 15th inning to lead the GreenJackets to a 5-4 win over the Charleston RiverDogs in South Atlantic League action at Lake Olmstead Stadium Tuesday night.

The GreenJackets end a three-game skid in improving to 19-18, 60-47 overall, while Charleston snaps its season-best six-game win streak in dropping to 20-18, 51-56 overall. The 15-inning affair is the longest game for the RiverDogs since May 20, 2006, an 8-7 win over the Rome Braves in 18 innings.

After a scoreless 14th from Ben Watkins (3-3), the right-hander was sent out for the 15th and gave up Dominguez 16th home run of the season to end the contest. It was the second time this season that Dominguez has hit a walkoff home run against Watkins, nailing a three-run home run in a 5-2, 11-inning triumph on April 19.

Southpaw Wilmin Rodriguez (3-3), who is scheduled to start for Augusta on Thursday, hummed a scoreless top of the 15th to secure his second win against the RiverDogs this season.

Charleston registered three straight hits with one out in the first against Augusta' Andy Reichard to snare a 3-0 lead. Luke Murton's RBI double and Neil Medchill's two-run double accounted for the early offense.

Newly-added RiverDog Kevin Mahoney led off the second with a double, tagged up for third on Hector Rabago's flyout, and ended up scoring on Kelvin Castro's RBI bunt single to increase the lead to 4-0. Castro has now driven in at least one run in eight straight games.

Reichard would allow no more as he battled through 7.0 innings in the no-decision, as the RiverDogs notched four runs on seven hits, but the State College, Pa. native did not walk a batter and sunk six.

Augusta came back with four straight hits in the bottom of the inning off Charleston's Mike Solbach, the last of which was a two-run single by Ryan Cavan, cutting the score to 4-2. Nick Liles' RBI fielder's choice inched the GreenJackets closer at 4-3.

Hector Sanchez tied the game at 4-4 in the third with a solo home run off Solbach for his fifth bomb of the season.

Solbach lasted just 4.0 innings in a no-decision, surrendering four runs on seven hits with two walks and four strikeouts.

The tie lasted all the way to the ninth, when Evan Crawford reached on an error then moved to second with two down. Ryan Lollis reached on an infield single, but Crawford never stopped running from second, and Rob Lyerly threw a strike to the plate for the final out to send the game to extra innings.

Reichard combined with relievers Zack Wheeler, Jose Casilla, Chris Gloor and Rodriguez to blank the RiverDogs over the final 13 innings, allowing just six singles with three walks and eight strikeouts.

On Charleston's side of the ledger, Kelvin Perez and Ryan Flannery teamed up to keep Augusta hitless between the third and ninth innings, while the GreenJackets only had five hits after the third. Perez, Flannery, Ryan Acosta and Watkins permitted just one run on five hits in 10 innings out of the bullpen with a pair of walks and seven punchouts.

Castro, Medchill and Mahoney had two hits each for Charleston, which posted 12 hits overall for double-digit knocks in three straight contests.

Wednesday's game three, set for a 7:05 p.m. first pitch, features Charleston right-hander Jose Ramirez (5-4, 3.31 ERA) battling Augusta right-hander Jeremy Toole (4-4, 4.14 ERA).
