
Dominguez Recalled, Blue Jays Option Tepera

The Toronto Blue Jays today recalled INF MATT DOMINGUEZ from the Buffalo Bisons and optioned RHP RYAN TEPERA to the Herd.
The Bisons will not play today as their scheduled game in Syracuse was postponed due to rain (doubleheader, August 2).
Dominguez is one of the Bisons' hottest hitters, having reached base safely in 16 of his last 19 games with a .324 average (23-71) since May 15. He has nine multi-hit performances in the 19-game stretch and has driven in 10 runs in his last eight contests. On the season, Dominguez has averaged .287 with seven doubles, five home runs and 28 RBI.
Tepera was recalled to the Blue Jays last Monday for his third stint with Toronto this year. He pitched an inning of shutout relief on Wednesday against the Yankees. Tepera is 1-1 with a 3.57 ERA and five saves in 13 games with the Bisons this season.
