Kansas City opened the scoring in the 1st after Casey Gillaspie drove in a run with a groundout and Shawn O'Malley made it 2-0 with a run-scoring single.

For the second consecutive night, Josh Mazzola tied the game in the 8th. Allday and Curt Smith reached on one-out singles against T-Bones starter Dylan Baker -- who tossed a season-best 7.1 innings - before Mazzola broke the shutout bid with a two-run single.

The 'Dogs had the bases loaded with nobody out in the 9th, but Christian Ibarra bounced into a 6-2-3 double play and Cody Regis struck out to end the inning.

Christian Ibarra doubled in the 3rd, extending his hitting streak to a season-best nine games. Curt Smith's season-high 11-game hitting streak ended with an 0-for-3 that included a hit-by-pitch and a walk.
