
Doell and Stewart Continue to Promote Wolves Reading Program

Chicago Wolves center Kevin Doell and left wing Karl Stewart will make appearances on Tue., Dec. 13, as part of the team's "Read to Succeed" program, sponsored by Fisher Nuts. The program has reached nearly 370,000 children in nine seasons.
The four appearances are scheduled for:

Niles Public Library 6960 Oakton St. 4 p.m. Berwyn Public Library 2701 S. Harlem Ave. 6:30 p.m. Karl Stewart
Indian Trails Public Library (Wheeling) 355 S. Schoenbeck Road 5 p.m.
Northbrook Public Library 1201 Cedar Lane 7 p.m. The players will discuss the importance of recreational reading; dress a child in Wolves hockey gear; raffle Wolves prizes; and sign autographs.
The program encourages children to spend more time reading at the library and for fun. Every participant in the program sets an individual reading goal and has the opportunity to achieve incentive prizes such as Wolves notebooks, "Read to Succeed" T-shirts and game tickets for reaching his or her reading goals.
The Wolves work with the DuPage, North Suburban and Metropolitan Library Systems and their participating libraries, reaching more than 30,000 kids each year. Members of the Wolves will visit nearly 40 libraries throughout the Chicago area this season.
