Binghamton Senators News Release
BINGHAMTON - The Ottawa Senators today reassigned goaltender Jeff Glass from the Binghamton Senators to the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL.
Glass, 20, had a 1-3-0 record with a 4.12 goals-against average and a .882 save percentage in five games. He was recalled from Charlotte on Nov. 19, his twentieth birthday, after goalie Billy Thompson suffered a groin injury during practice on Nov. 18. The rookie goaltender made his first career AHL appearance on Nov. 19 against Albany in relief of Kelly Guard and earned his first win against Syracuse on Thanksgiving Day.
