
Golf Tournament raises $16,000 for Houston Aeros Charities

HOUSTON, Texas - The 11th Annual Houston Aeros Golf Classic raised $16,000 for Houston Aeros Charities, the foundation announced Thursday. The Golf Classic was held this past Tuesday at Wildcat Golf Club.
The next Houston Aeros Charities event is the rescheduled Casino Night, set for Thursday, Feb. 16 at the Hess Club at 5430 Westheimer. Casino Night will benefit the Sunshine Kids Foundation and Houston Aeros Charities. Sponsorship and ticket information can he had by calling Houston Aeros Charities at 713.974.PUCK.
The Sunshine Kids, a national non-profit organization that was founded in Houston in 1982, strives to make life better for children with cancer by offering emotional support and various positive group activities.
Doors open at 7 p.m. with the Texas Hold âEm tournament beginning at 8 p.m. The gaming area will also open at 8 p.m. Drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served.
