KENOSHA, WI - After taking a 1-0 lead in the third inning, the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders would not hold a lead again until scoring the go-ahead run in the ninth inning to complete the comeback victory over the Kenosha Kingfish. On Monday night, the Dock Spiders defeated the Kingfish 6-5. With two outs in the ninth, Jackson Loftin was able to score from third base on a wild pitch to give Fondy the one-run lead.

In the third inning, Maurice Hampton connected on a first-pitch solo home run to left field, his first of the season

Trailing by one run, McGwire Holbrook scored from third base after a Kenosha infield error on a ground ball to tie the game at 5-5

Gus Collins entered the game in the eighth inning and allowed just one hit across the final two innings, including closing out the game with a 1-2-3 bottom of the ninth frame to secure the win

Starting pitcher Riley Frey struck out eight Kenosha batters in 6.2 innings from the mound

Chandler Simpson continued his consistency at the plate, going 2-4 with one walk, one run scored, and two stolen bases to bring his season total to 11 stolen bags.
