Rockford, Ill.- The Chicago Blackhawks have reassigned forward Chris DiDomenico to the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs from the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL.
The second-year winger has appeared in 10 games with Rockford this season, recording a goal and two assists.
Last night, DiDomenico dished out two assists to help the Walleye knock off the Chicago Express 2-1 in overtime. In 17 total games with the Walleye, DiDomenico ranks second on the team in scoring with 4g-13a-17pts.
DiDomenico, 22, played in 25 games with the IceHogs in 2010-11 and marked four assists. In 37 contests with the Walleye a season ago, the Woodbridge, Ont. native totaled 9g-16a-25pts.
