Express Celebrate the New Year with Three Games on Home Ice

Hoffman Estates, IL - The Chicago Express, proud member of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, are celebrating the turn of the New Year with three games at the Sears Centre Arena this weekend, as well as terrific ticket specials on Saturday and Sunday.
The weekend kicks off against Kalamazoo on Friday, December 30, for a Dollar Friday featuring one dollar beers and one dollar hot dogs. Fans can purchase beers and dogs at the special price at any of the portable stands located throughout the arena. Season ticket holders should be sure to have their VIP cards with them, as the special pricing on hot dogs and beer is also available at the Season Ticket Holder only lines at the concession stands. The dollar beers and dollar hot dogs will be served until midway through the third period. The doors open at 6:30 pm, while the puck drops at 7:30 pm.
Following Friday's game, C Joe Cucci and LW Chad Painchaud, who scored the Teddy Bear Toss goal at Chicago's last home game on December 16, will both be available for pictures and autographs. Stop by the autograph table on the concourse to meet Lehman and Painchaud after the game!
On Saturday, December 31, the Express welcome a new opponent in to the Sears Centre Arena, as the Greenville Road Warriors come to town. The Express are holding a New Year's Noisemaker Giveaway, courtesy of Party City, on Saturday where New Year's party favors will be given out as fans enter the building. A limited number of party favors are available, so be sure to get here early. The puck drops at 7:30 pm on Saturday, with the doors opening at 6:30 pm.
Everyone at the game on Saturday is invited to attend the New Year's Eve celebration at the Sears Centre Arena. Following the game, fans are invited to skate on the ice for free, as well as attend the Party in the Club. Anyone who wishes to enjoy the free skate is encouraged to bring their own skates to the game, although limited skate rental is available for $4. The Party in the Club is included with any ticket purchase, so fans do not have to purchase a club ticket to enjoy the postgame activities. A cash bar will be available in the club.
Chicago and Greenville battle again on Sunday for a 4:00 pm matinee start, with the doors opening at 3:00 pm. The Express wrap up a three games in three nights set on Sunday, all at the Sears Centre Arena. Following Sunday's game, the Express players will be on the ice for a Skate with the Team event. Limited skate rental is available, and fans are encouraged to bring their own skates to the game.
Both Saturday and Sunday's games have a fantastic ticket deal to celebrate the coming of 2012. Fans can purchase two tickets for side or club level seating for $20.12. The special $20.12 ticket offer is only available for purchase in advance, so don't wait, call the Express at 224-220-1333. The deal is not available online, so please call the Express office to enjoy the New Year ticket special.
