Cloud Heads Back to the AHL

ONTARIO, Calif.- The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, announced that forward Chris Cloud has been called up to play for the AHL's Manchester Monarchs for the second time this season.

Cloud, 23, has played 23 games with the Reign this season posting a total of 10 points (5g, 5a) and 96 penalty minutes. During his three appearances with the Monarchs, Cloud recorded seven penalty minutes. This will be the forward's second time playing in the AHL in his professional career.

The Waywayseecappo, Manitoba native signed with the Reign in September 2011 prior to the start of the 2011-12 season. The forward joined the team from playing with the CHL's Bloomington PrairieThunder, where he recorded 13 points (2g, 11a) and 103 penalty minutes in 53 games. Cloud had an eight game stint with the CHL's Tulsa Oilers where he posted 25 penalty minutes.

Reign Drops: The next Reign game is Wednesday Dec. 28 against the Bakersfield Condors. The puck drops at 7:00 p.m. at Rabobank Arena. Be sure to catch the game live on America One by clicking here.
