Stewart Assigned to Jackals

Elmira Jackals News Release


The Elmira Jackals announced on Wednesday that goaltender Brian Stewart has been assigned to the club by its AHL affiliate the Binghamton Senators.

Stewart, a second-year pro, is 10-5-0-0 with Elmira this season, posting a .906 save percentage and a 3.16 goals-against average. He was named the ECHL's Goaltender of the Week for Nov. 28 - Dec. 4. Stewart was most recently recalled by the B-Sens on Dec. 17 and has not played in a game with the club this season. This is his fifth assignment to Elmira of 2011-2012.
