It was a bad for the Diablos right from the start, after going scoreless in the top of the first inning the Diablos gave up five runs in the bottom of the first inning, and trailed the whole game. After a bad first inning the Diablos defense settled in, and in the fourth inning the Diablos scored their first and only run of the game off a JJ Muse RBI, but the Wingnuts immediately struck back in the next inning scoring two runs to take a commanding 7-1 lead.
After going down by six runs, the Wingnuts offense went quit only scoring one more run to put the game out of contention with a final score of 8-1. The one shining light of the game was right fielder Brian Joynt who continues his great season going two for four in the game, with a .364 Batting average on the season.
The Diablos now fall to 5-12 this season, with two more games against the Wichita Wingnuts in their four game series. The Diablos will be back home on June 7 to start there three game series against the Grand Prairie AirHogs.
