Defensive Lineman Luis Vasquez Added to Practice Roster

The Calgary Stampeders have added import defensive lineman Luis Vasquez to the practice roster.

Vasquez signed with the National Football League's Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2009 and split the 2011 season between the Arena Football League's Dallas Vigilantes and Milwaukee Mustangs.

Vasquez played two seasons for the Arizona State University Sun Devils and was all-Pac-10 honourable mention both years. During his Sun Devils career, he recorded 78tackles, including 22 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Prior to attending Arizona State, he was at Arizona Western College and was a two-time National Junior College Athletic Association first-team All-American.

The Stamps have also released import defensive lineman Donovan Robinson.
