Congi Named Special Teams Player of the Month After Perfect September

Hamilton, Ontario - Hamilton Tiger-Cats kicker Luca Congi has been recognized as the Canadian Football League's Special Teams Player of the Month for September.

In five games during September, Congi made all 15 of his field goal attempts and all 14 of his extra points, scoring 59 total points.

Congi leads the league with a field goal percentage of 93.5% and has connected on 21 consecutive field goals, putting him one behind the sixth-longest streak in CFL history (22 by Sean Fleming) and nine back of Paul McCallum's record of 30 set in 2011.
