Eskimos Mourn Passing of Doug Montgomery

(Edmonton) Doug Montgomery, a former member of the Edmonton Eskimo Board of Directors passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 in Edmonton.
Montgomery served on the board during the Eskimos five-in-a-row Grey Cup glory years. He was a director in 1978, the board secretary from 1979-80 and held a director position from 1980-83. His wife, Sheilagh, also now deceased, was involved with the Eskimo cheerleaders and Miss Edmonton Eskimo program.
A memorial for Doug will take place Thursday, October 4 at 2 p.m. at Connelly - McKinley (114 Street & 100 Avenue).
