Winnipeg Blue Bombers News Release
WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added non-import defensive back Jawann Westerman to their practice roster.
Westerman (5-11, 177, Rutgers, DOB: December 23, 1986 in Brampton, Ontario) played both receiver and defensive back with the Scarlet Knights but never recorded any stats after being a walk-on as a freshman. Westerman's younger brother, Jabar, was the second overall pick in this past year's CFL Draft, and his older brother Jamaal currently plays for the NFL's Arizona Cardinals. The Blue Bombers will try Westerman as a safety.
