Defenseman Joe Charlebois and Goaltender Alec Richards go to Rockford

(TOLEDO, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced a trio of roster moves as they prepare to travel south for three games this weekend (Friday and Saturday in Gwinnett and Sunday at Charlotte).

Goaltender Alec Richards and defenseman Joe Charlebois have been promoted to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

For the 23-year-old Charlebois, this will be his first trip to Rockford this season after playing in 13 games for the IceHogs last season. The University of New Hampshire product has 1 goal, 12 assists, and 60 penalty minutes in 42 games for the Walleye this year. He is in his 2nd professional season.

Richards (22) will be making his 4th trip to Rockford this season where he is 3-2-0 in six games with a GAA of 3.12. The rookie from Yale has played in 21 games for the Walleye this year (13-5-3, 3.40 GAA). Richards is expected to re-join the Walleye for this weekend's games in Gwinnett and Charlotte.

Jondo (26) has been released by the club. Jondo was signed last week and played in two games with Toledo and did not register a point.
