Stingrays Goaltender Van Buskirk Recalled To Hershey

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach Cail MacLean announced today that goaltender Parker Van Buskirk has been called up to the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League.

Van Buskirk, 21, has appeared in five games for the Stingrays going 1-3-0-1 with a 4.42 goals-against average and a.865 save percentage. The Winsor, ON native came to the Stingrays via trade with the Utah Grizzlies. Van Buskirk went 5-8-1 with a 3.39 GAA and a.881 save percentage while with the Grizzlies.

The Stingrays continue their seven-game road trip Thursday, February 4 against the Cincinnati Cyclones at 7:30 p.m. at U.S. Bank Arena.
