Dea Reassigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned forward Jean-Sebastien Dea to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins from the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL), it was announced today.

Dea has posted four goals and two assists in 12 contests this season with Wheeling. The 21-year-old rookie forward has appeared in 41 games for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, collecting nine goals, 10 assists and 14 penalty minutes.

Dea set career highs in 2013-14 with 49 goals for Rouyn-Noranda of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League - fourth most in the league - and ranked second on the team with 75 points. In three seasons with the Huskies, Dea totaled 192 points (111G-81A) over 183 contests.

The fourth Eyewitness News Fan Friday will take place on Friday, April 3 when the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins battle the Worcester Sharks at 7:05 p.m. Fans have a chance to purchase lower-bowl end zone seats for just $14 and select draft beers at Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza will be just $2 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
