David Feather Joins Royals As Ticket Sales Manager

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that the organization has hired David Feather to serve as the team's Ticket Sales Manager. Feather will be responsible for managing all matters related to ticket sales for the Royals, including oversight of season ticket packages, group sales, and special ticket programs. Feather, a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with degrees in Sports Management and a Masters of Business Administration, recently served as the director of sales for the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL, where he managed a ten person sales staff. Before joining the Checkers, Feather was the assistant general manager and vice president of sales for two seasons with the Knoxville Ice Bears of the Southern Professional Hockey League. Prior to beginning his career in pro hockey, Feather served as a contract specialist and system administrator for the United States Air Force, where he was chosen as his squadron's Airman of the Year in 1997.

The Royals return to the Sovereign Center this afternoon (1:00 pm) against the Wheeling Nailers, when everyone under 18 years of age can get in for just $6.00; and the first 1500 fans 21 years of age or older will receive a Royals' 'cooler bag' courtesy of Labatt's Blue and All Star Distributing. Royals' game night broadcasts can be heard live on ESPN Radio 1240 am (and on the internet through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com), beginning thirty minutes before the opening face-off. Streaming video is also available for $6.00 per game through the B2 Networks, which can be accessed through the Royals' website.
