MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Rich Seeley, announced that Darik Angeli has been returned from loan by the Manitoba Moose (AHL).

Angeli, 25, has played in 48 games for the Monarchs this season, scoring 15 points on six goals and nine assists. The first-year skater had a career high two points Dec. 18 at Fort Wayne on a goal and an assist. With Manitoba, Angeli recorded a goal and two assists for three points in 10 games.

The 6-foot-3, 203-pound Lakewood, Colo. native returns from his second call to the AHL, his first coming Nov. 4 when he was loaned to the Portland Pirates. In his AHL career, Angeli has played in 11 games, scoring three points.

Before signing with the Monarchs, Angeli spent four seasons at The Ohio State University, playing in 128 games and scoring 45 points on 25 goals and 20 assists.

Angeli and the Monarchs are back on the Jungle ice Friday, April 8 (7 p.m.) when they host the Adirondack Thunder in the final home game of the regular season on Fan Appreciation night.
