Danis-Pepin to Rockford

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that defenseman Simon Danis-Pepin has been recalled to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League. In another move forward David Toews has been activated off of injured reserve.
Danis-Pepin has appeared in 25 games this year with the Walleye and has three goals and six assists. Toews has not appeared in a game with the Walleye since January 8th. David has scored two goals with eight assists.
Toledo will play in Wheeling on Friday night. The Toledo Walleye will return home on Saturday, February 11 to play the Cincinnati Cyclones at 7 p.m. That night is "American Cancer Society Night" in which all fans are encouraged to wear purple!
