Phillips Reassigned to Adirondack; Ferkol Signed

TRENTON, N.J. - The Trenton Titans announced goalie Brad Phillips has been reassigned to Adirondack (AHL) and Billy Ferkol has been signed as an Emergency Backup Goaltender.

Phillips, 22, appeared in 14 games with the Titans, recording a 4-8 mark with a 3.28 goals-against average and .879 save percentage. He was selected by the Philadelphia Flyers in the seventh round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Phillips is the second Titans goalie to get the call to the AHL in two days, as Dave Caruso was loaned to Charlotte Thursday.

Ferkol, 32, a native of Parma, Ohio, recently served as an Emergency Backup Goaltender for the Cincinnati Cyclones, who the Titans visit at 7:35 tonight.

Following the game in Cincinnati, the Titans travel to Wheeling Saturday before returning home for a 4 p.m. Sunday encounter with Elmira at the Sun National Bank Center, The team is then home for its Educational Day game with Reading, which begins at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, and welcomes the Royals at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 17 - a Papa John's Family Pizza Friday - then Wheeling at 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, followed by a full-team autograph session.

All $18 Titans t-shirts will be sold for a special $12 price at Wednesday's Educational Day.
