Dallas Reassigns Elie to Texas

FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has reassigned left wing Remi Elie to the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

Elie, 21, has recorded 25 points (8-1725) in 49 games played this season with Texas. He has produced five points (2-35) in his last seven contests. In two professional seasons with Texas, he has registered 42 points (14-2842) in 113 regular season games.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound native of Cornwall, Ontario was originally selected by Dallas in the second round (40th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.

The Texas Stars are the primary development affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, and are currently playing their eighth season at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
