Anaheim Ducks Announce Roster Move

SAN DIEGO - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled center Chris Wagner from the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Wagner, 25 (5/27/91), has scored three goals (3-03) with six PIM in 25 games with Anaheim this season. In 77 career NHL games with Anaheim and Colorado, the 6-0, 200-pound center has 7-29 points with 36 PIM. Claimed on waivers by Anaheim from Colorado on Feb. 25, 2016, Wagner began his NHL career with the Ducks in 2014-15 prior to being claimed on waivers by the Avalanche on Nov. 15, 2015.

Selected by Anaheim in the fifth round (122nd overall) of the 2010 NHL Draft, Wagner has collected 55-51106 points with 238 PIM in 239 career AHL games with Norfolk (2012-15) and San Diego (2015-17). He made his AHL season debut on Nov. 27 at Ontario and went on to record 12-719 points with a +10 rating and 18 PIM in 30 games with the Gulls.
