
San Diego Gulls to Host Food Drive to Benefit Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank

SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Gulls announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club will host a food drive benefiting the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank prior to its game on Friday, March 3 vs. the Tucson Roadrunners at Valley View Casino Center (7 p.m.). The food drive will feature a friendly off-the-ice competition between Gulls and Pacific Division rival Ontario Reign fans with both clubs hosting a simultaneous food drive at their respective arenas to collect the most donated non-perishable goods.
The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank will be onsite to collect non-perishable goods at each arena entrance of Valley View Casino Center. Fans who donate items will receive one raffle ticket, and will be entered to win a white premiere Gulls jersey or a team-autographed stick. Raffle will be limited to one ticket per person and the winners will be announced prior to the end of the March 3 game.
