On the mound for the 'Dads, Owen White was lights out. He allowed just two hits and no walks across six frames while striking out nine. He picked up the win to move to 1-1 on the season.

The Crawdads scored three more in the eighth to take a commanding five run lead. Cody Freeman led off the inning by reaching second base on a throwing error by the third baseman. Zavala grounded into a double play but Chavez came in to score.
