
Drive Suffer Loss to Crawdads

Greenville, SC - The Greenville Drive took the field tonight for the third time in Hickory but were defeated 6-1. The Drive scored first in the second inning on a Nicholas Northcut home run but would not see the dish the rest of the game.
The six runs scored by the Crawdads were spread out over three innings. In the second inning they scored twice. Scott Kapers hit one to the parking lot and brought Frainyer Chavez home with him.
The next run was scored in the sixth inning by Chavez on a wild pitch.
The last three runs were scored in the eighth. Cody Freeman found home on a single from Angel Aponte. Aponte scored on Frainyer's double, and the final run came from Chavex rounding the bases off the bat of Aaron Zavala.
The Drive continues to play tomorrow at 7.
