WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Winston-Salem Dash got back to their winning ways in a 7-3 tilt against Asheville.
Bryan Ramos got things started by drawing a bases loaded walk in the second inning. Then in the third, Caberea Weaver singled to drive in Keegan Fish**.**
Asheville got on the board in the home half of the fourth. First, Zack Daniels connected for a solo home run. Then, Nerio Rodriguez tied the game at 2-2 on a RBI single to score Christian Gonzalez.
The Dash took the lead right back in the top of the fifth. Harvin Mendoza grounded into a fielder's choice which scored Luis Mieses, and Duke Ellis singled to plate Luis Curbelo**.**
Mendoza struck again for Winston-Salem in the seventh inning. This time, it was a two run blast to get the Dash ahead 6-2.
More insurance for the Dash came in the eighth, on a Luis Mieses double that scored Luis Curbelo to make it 7-2.
Asheville got one run back in the eighth on an error, but that would be all as the Dash won game three of the series 7-3.
Chase Solesky was the winner for Winston-Salem, while Hunter Peck took the loss.
