Daavettila Returns to Line-Up; Vause Receives Call-Up

WINDSOR, Colo. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames and Adirondack Flames of the AHL, announced Monday that Eagles captain and veteran forward Trent Daavettila has been activated from the injured reserve and is expected to be in the line-up on Wednesday against the Utah Grizzlies. In a separate transaction, Eagles forward Taylor Vause has received a call-up to the AHL by Adirondack.

Last season, Daavettila was tied for first among Eagles scorers and sixth in the league with 66 points. He missed the first 11 games of the 2014-15 season after suffering an injury in the Eagles first pre-season game at Rapid City on October 11th.

Vause, the 5-foot-10, 185-pound Calgary native, has posted 13 points in just 10 games with Colorado this season. The 23 year-old has appeared in 84 AHL games with the Texas Stars, registering 8 goals and 20 assists.
