About Thursday Night vs. Orlando: Greg Miller enjoyed a three-point night to lift the Solar Bears over the Cyclones by a 4-3 final score in front of 2,339 at U.S. Bank Arena. Cyclones defenseman Josh McFadden earned a multi-point game with a goal and an assist while Geoff Irwin and Michael Neal also lit the lamp for Cincinnati in a losing effort.
About Saturday Night vs. Fort Wayne: Former Cyclone Paul Crowder picked up the game-ending goal in the 5th round of the shootout to give the Komets a 5-4 victory over the Cyclones in front of 6,844 at U.S. Bank Arena. Michael Neal enjoyed a season-high two-goal game while Wade Megan and Shayne Taker each collected a pair of assists in the defeat.

SHOTS FROM THE POINT:
The Homestand Continues: The Cyclones will look to earn some revenge this week as they continue a season-long homestand at U.S. Bank Arena beginning tomorrow morning! In the annual Education in Hockey Day Game, Matt Macdonald's team will host the Orlando Solar Bears at 10:30am in hopes of evening the season series at one. Then, on Friday, Cincinnati welcomes in the Evansville IceMen for the first time in 2014-15. The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a Cyclones Oven Mitt! Plus, we'll be hosting the first Pucks & Pints pregame beer tasting event of the season. Finally, on Saturday, the Clones play host to the Kalamazoo Wings on "Simpons Night" as they pay homage to the 25th anniversary of the classic animated series.
Keeping Shots Down: Cincy has been among the league's elite in terms of scoring opportunities against. Coming into today, the Cyclones are allowing the fourth-fewest shots per game on average - just 26.11 per game. In fact, the Florida Everblades are the only Eastern Conference team to have a better average in this department (24.67).
Finding Strides: A couple of Cincinnati forwards are starting to rack up points in a big way. Both Michael Neal and Byron Froese posted two-goal games last Saturday against Fort Wayne. Neal has collected points in three of his last four games while Froese has put his name on the scoresheet in six of his last seven.
