
Cyclones Take out Rivermen

CINCINNATI, OH - The Cincinnati Cyclones extended their unbeaten streak to three consecutive games with a 5-2 win over the Peoria Rivermen on Saturday at U.S. Bank Arena.
The Cyclones jumped to a 3-0 lead after a first period goal from Nick Bootland and second period markers from Aaron Brand and Brent Twordik. A late shorthanded goal by Peoria's Chris Wells pulled the Rivermen to within 3-1 after two periods.
In the third period, Cincinnati struck for two quick goals to extend their lead to 5-1. Brand added his second of the night, while Bob Crummer picked up his second.
Cincinnati travels to Wheeling, West Virginia on Sunday to meet the Nailers. The opening face off is set for 6:00 PM.
