Cyclones Receive Kyle Rank Back From Portland

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones have received forward Kyle Rank back from Portland of the AHL The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators.

Rank, 25, has played in 16 games for the Cyclones this season, collecting 13 points on three goals and ten assists. Kyle played 25 games in the AHL last season with Wilkes-Barre. He spent the rest of the campaign in 2007-08 with Wheeling (ECHL), netting ten goals and 23 assists for 33 points in 34 games. He played three games this past weekend while loaned to Portland..

The loan of Rank marks the sixth different player the Cyclones to have been loaned or recalled by an American Hockey League team.

Cincinnati (9-7-3) is fourth in the North Division of the American Conference. The Cyclones host Dayton Wednesday, the opening of a seven game homestand.
