
Lalande and Wranglers Stuff Falcons 4-0

Las Vegas, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Fresno Falcons 4-0 Monday night in front of 3,248 fans at the Orleans Arena. Las Vegas goalie Kevin Lalande stopped all 30 Fresno shots for his fourth career shutout and the victory. Wranglers forwards Mike Hamilton, Tyler Mosienko, Justin Taylor, and J.D. Watt each scored a goal and added an assist in the four-goal win. Center Chris Ferraro had two assists as the team moved a game over .500 for the first time this season. Las Vegas and Fresno will play again at 7:30 PM at the Orleans Arena on Tuesday night.
Las Vegas struck first in the opening period when center Tyler Mosienko scored his fifth goal of the season on the power play at 13:02. Justin Taylor and Chris Ferraro set up the go-ahead goal for the 1-0 Las Vegas lead. Taylor scored his sixth goal of the season at 16:29 for the 2-0 lead. Taylor's power-play goal was set up by Shawn Limpright and Tyler Mosienko.
In the second period, Las Vegas expanded the team's lead to 3-0 just 1:58 into the period. Forward Mike Hamilton poked in a loose puck past Fresno goalie Michael Ouzas for his fourth goal of the year.
In the final period, right wing J.D. Watt scored his fifth goal of the season just 1:38 into third period for the 4-0 lead. Watt's goal concluded the scoring on the night and was set up by Hamilton and defenseman Jeff May.
Las Vegas will host Fresno again on Tuesday, December 2nd at 7:30 PM at the Orleans Arena. The Wranglers will host "Sing for Santa" both nights and host the Teddy Bear Toss on Tuesday night. Las Vegas will then embark on a five-game road trip with stops in Phoenix, Fresno and Bakersfield before returning home for the Midnight game on Monday, December 15th at 11:59 PM.
