TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: Tonight the Cyclones will look for continued success against the South Division as they open a three-game series against the Florida Everblades. Jarrod Skalde's team leads the season series with their Sunshine State foes, 3-2, and have pulled into a tie on the all-time regular season series count, with a 6-6 record. This season, the 'Clones have outshot the Everblades 185-128, including their two highest shots-on-goal outputs of the season (42 and 48).

TONIGHT'S PROMOTION: Wet Wednesday - $1 PBR and Miller High Life.

SCOUTING THE EVERBLADES: As has been the case all season, the Everblades sport the ECHL's most dangerous offensive unit, scoring a league high 174 goals. However, their defense has been one of the most porous as well - allowing 162 tallies, which is fourth-most among all 19 teams. With Mitch Fadden on the injured-reserved list for the foreseeable future, Francis Lemieux has taken over the team and ECHL lead in scoring - potting 63 points (26 goals, 37 assists) in 50 games this year. Alex Imbeault has also been a useful weapon for the Everblades, ranking second on the team with 27 goals and 13 helpers. Florida goalie Bobby Goepfert, meanwhile, is tied for the ECHL lead with 19 wins and ranks second with 1020 saves. He is 1-0-1 this year against Cincinnati.

Sproat's Scoring Success: After a four-goal week, Cyclones forward Dustin Sproat has jumped into 6th place on the franchise scoring leaderboard - posting 120 points as a member of the Cyclones. He has now found the net in five of his last seven games. Sproat is tied for the team lead in goals (14) and ranks third in points (27). His performance last week earned him an ECHL Player of the Week nomination.

Southern Comfort: The Cyclones will look to improve upon some terrific numbers against the South Division this year. Coming into tonight, the 'Clones have earned a 6-1-2 record against the "South" including a three-game sweep of the Everblades in early January. In fact, there are only four other teams in the ECHL that have posted a winning mark against the South Division (Reading, Greenville, South Carolina). Cincinnati has outscored their opponents in those games 31-24 and have outshot them by a total of 302-227.

A Busy Week of Transactions: The 'Clones made several roster moves this week. Cincinnati acquired Paul McIlveen from the Greenville Road Warriors in exchange for Chris Clackson. Also, goaltender Marc Cheverie was recalled to the Rochester Americans in the AHL - which will be "Chevy's" first trip to the Triple A level. Finally, the Milwaukee Admirals reassigned forward Dylan Hunter to Cincinnati and have called up defenseman Benn Olson.
