Kalamazoo Wings News Release
Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders and American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announce they will be making several public appearances greeting fans and signing autographs next week following their Monday, February 14th clash versus the Wheeling Nailers during the 11th Annual Pink Ice Game at Wings Stadium.
On Tuesday, February 15th, Trent Daavettila, Bryan Jurynec and Dean Strong will join Kalamazoo's favorite mascot Slappy at Smashburger from 6-8 pm. Smashburger is quickly becoming Kalamazoo's favorite burger place. They take 100% certified Angus beef that has never been frozen and smash it on a flat grill to sear in all the juices. As a reminder, as a member of K-Wings Kidz Club, Smashburger has offered a FREE meal to any member that wears their Kidz Club jersey or Kidz Club ID will receive a FREE Kids Meal, with the purchase of an adult entry. Smashburger in Kalamazoo is located on West Main, just east of Drake Road.
The following day, on Wednesday, February 16th, Joe Charlebois and Mitch Versteeg will talk to students from Lewis Cass ISD starting at 1 p.m.
Later that night, Justin Taylor, Steven Tarasuk and Andrew Fournier will be at Hooter's on South Westnedge just north of I-94 from Meijer from 6-8 p.m. Hooter's is a worldwide restaurant chain that bills itself as "delightfully tacky yet unrefined."
