SING FOR SANTA / STANLEY CUP NIGHT

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: The Cyclones look to keep their point-streak alive tonight as they welcome in the Elmira Jackals for the first of back-to-back games at U.S. Bank Arena. Despite dropping an overtime decision to Kalamazoo on Tuesday, Cincy has posted points in three straight games and in five of their last six. Elmira squeaked out a 2-1 win against the Clones back in November to carry an early lead in the seven-game season series. All-time against their Big Apple State foes, Cincinnati has amassed an 18-15-1-3 record.

TONIGHT'S PROMOTION: CYCLONES SNOW GLOBE NIGHT - The first 2,000 fans through the gates will receive a Cyclones Holiday Snow Globe!

SCOUTING THE JACKALS: While they still pull up the rear in the Atlantic Division, Dwight Mullins' has some momentum with back-to-back wins under their belt. And despite their early-season struggle, Elmira has found great success against North Division opponents, going 4-1-1 this season. Jakub Culek and Jordan Pietrus lead the way for the Jackals on offense, notching 15 points apiece. Culek's point totals rank him 8th among all ECHL rookies. Between the pipes, Maxime Clermont has been the go-to-guy of late; after having started the last five games, his record now sits 4-5-0-1 with a goals-against average of 3.11. Scott Greenham, whose last start came against the Cyclones last month, is 5-6-0-1 with a 2.59 GAA. That night, he made 35 saves to earn the victory.

About Tuesday Night vs. Kalamazoo: Eric Kattelus scored with 19 seconds remaining in the overtime session as the Wings rallied to defeat the Cyclones by a 2-1 final score in front of 2,324 at U.S. Bank Arena. Rookie goaltender Joe Howe, who was signed by Cincinnati earlier that day, made an impressive debut in his first ECHL start, helping his team earn a point in the standings, despite being outshot 32-19 in the tilt.

Middle Period Muster: The Cyclones have found their best success during the second period of games this season. So far in the middle frame, they're out-scoring opponents 26-18.

The Steady Hand: Chris Reed has continued to be one of the most consistent rear guards in the ECHL. He ranks fourth among all league-players with a +13 plus/minus rating - and ranks 2nd among all defensemen. He ranks fourth on the Cyclones club record for all-time plus/minus (+41).

Heroes Are Everywhere: The Cyclones continue to share the wealth in terms of game-winning goals. Of Cincinnati's 14 triumphs, there have been 11 different players to notch the game-winner. 4 different players have earned shootout winners.
