Just two days after his career game, Cooper played the first 25 minutes before ceding the crease to Andrew Loewen, who stopped 14-of-16.

New Kids on the Block: The Gladiators made several moves in the past week, starting on Wednesday the 11th, by trading for defenseman Antoine Corbin from the Cincinnati Cyclones, and then the next day exchanging forward Mike Embach and defenseman Nathan Martine for Fort Wayne forwards Bobby Hughes and Brett Lyon, along with defenseman Rob Kwiet. On Tuesday, the Gladiators added two new goaltenders to the roster by signing Paul Karpowich and Brad Phillips. And finally, on Thursday, forward Brian Elser returned to Gwinnett. He was last with the team during training camp before this season.
