TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: Not even 48 hours after clawing their way back to an overtime victory over Toledo, the Cyclones are on the road for the first time in this young season - as they make their first visit to the Fort Wayne Komets tonight. Cincinnati had great success against their Hoosier State foes last season, collecting 12 of a possible 19 points by going 5-2-1-1. The Clones were a stellar 4-1-1 at Memorial Coliseum.

SCOUTING THE KOMETS: Under new Head Coach Gary Graham, the Komets are in search of their first win of 2013-14. In their only outing thus far, they fell to the Toledo Walleye in a shootout and currently sit fourth in the North Division standings. Third-year pro Mickey Lang potted two his team's three goals in the game last Saturday and leads Fort Wayne on offense. Brandon Marino, who amassed 74 points in 71 games last year, had a pair of assists against the Walleye and is always a dangerous weapon on offense. With John Muse called up to the American Hockey League, Miami University alumnus Cody Reichard will likely be in net for the Komets tonight. The 26-year-old collected an impressive 53-24-9 record during his time in Oxford and was named the CCHA Player of the Year in 2009-10. A year ago, he posted a 2.64 GAA and a 13-8-5 mark with the Stockton Thunder.

About Thursday Night vs. Toledo: Antoine Corbin scored a timely first goal of the season as the Cyclones mounted an impressive comeback and defeated the Walleye in overtime by a final score of 3-2 in front of 2,432 at U.S. Bank Arena. Successfully killing three opposing power plays and helped by 33 saves from goaltender Rob Madore (W, 33 saves, 1-0-0-0), the Cyclones prevailed to earn their second win in as many games.

Strong Finishers: Cincinnati continues to be a strong late-game team. In 2012-13, they were 27-0-0-1 when leading after two periods. They added their first such win last Saturday against Wheeling.

Comeback Kids: The Cyclones were able to mount a late game comeback on Thursday night with a two-goal third period and the OT winner. They were no strangers to this type of game in 2012-13...14 of their wins last year came in rally fashion.

Century Club: Cincy defenseman Chris Reed, who added another assist to his totals on Saturday is approaching a personal milestone. After tonight, he needs just five more games played to reach 100 in his Cyclones career.
