Bakersfield, CA - The Florida Everblades keep their West Coast swing rolling Saturday with their second-ever trip to Rabobank Arena to take on the Bakersfield Condors at 10:00pm EST.
Florida enters Saturday fresh off a thrilling 5-4 shootout win at previously unbeaten Ontario.
It was a big night for the rookies in southern California as Kyle Bonis had a hat trick for the Blades while John Henrion provided three assists and the game-winning goal in the shootout.
Jesse Deckert- also a rookie- made 27 saves in his 2013-14 Blades debut, plus three straight stops in the shootout to pick up his 10^th career win in blue and green.
Bakersfield enters Saturday in search of their first win of 2013-14 after coming up short in their comeback bid against the Stockton Thunder, falling 5-4 at home Friday.
The Condors shook up their lineup over the past week, making nine separate roster moves and dressing four players- Michael Neal, Ned Lukacevic, Blake Kessel and Ryan Garlock- Friday that were not on their opening day roster.
Saturday's interdivision tilt will be broadcast locally on FOX Sports Radio 1350 AM and worldwide online on America ONE, the official internet television provider for the ECHL, at www.americaonesports.com. Pregame coverage will get under way at 9:45pm.
