
Cyclone Barret Ehgoetz Selected to 2009 ECHL All-Star Game

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The 2008 Kelly Cup champion Cincinnati Cyclones announced today that center Barret Ehgoetz will represent the team at the ECHL All-Star Game The Cyclones are the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators.
Ehgoetz, 27, currently ranks eleventh in the ECHL in scoring with eleven goals and 22 assists for 33 points. He has recorded eight multiple point games on the year. Barret has played the second-most games in team history (174), is second on the career scoring list (139), ranks second on the career assists list (92) and holds the club record for career shorthanded goals (five).
The five-foot-nine, 170 pounder from Kincardine, ONT is in his fourth professional season. Ehgoetz played his rookie season with Utah (ECHL), before coming to the club during 2006-07. This will be his first trip to the ECHL's All-Star Game. He will replace teammate Olivier Latendresse on the roster and in the starting lineup for the game.
The ECHL All-Star Game will be played at the Sovereign Center in Reading, PA on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 7pm. Tickets for the event can be purchased by calling 610-898-7825.

The Cyclones host the Trenton Devils on January 9 and 10 for 7:30pm clashes both nights.
