
Bombers Score Early And Often, Beat Wheeling 8-4

WHEELING, W.VA. -- Nino Musitelli and Tomas Zaborsky had two goals apiece and Mike McLean tallied four assists as the Dayton Bombers beat the Wheeling Nailers 8-4 Friday night.
Just returning from the IR, Musitelli scored the Bombers first goal at 8:22 of the first with assists to Zaborsky and McLean. Christian Gaudet broke a 1-1 tie at 14:13 of the period assisted by Danny Lapointe and Ryan Smyth. It was 3-1 after Jarret Lukin's fifteen goal of the year at 17:35 with an assist from Dan Riedel before a shorthanded Wheeling goal closed the gap to 3-2.
Brock Wilson scored early in the second (assists to Les Reaney and Dominic D'Amour.) Zaborsky followed at 6:24 (assist to McLean) to make it 5-2. Zaborsky again scored at 18:01 with an assist from Musitelli and McLean.
After an early Wheeling goal in the third, Musitelli (from McLean) and Smyth (from D'Amour and Gaudet) closed out the scoring at 5:33 and 6:17 respectively.
The Bombers host Wheeling Saturday night on Military Appreciation Night II. Faceoff is 7:30.
