Altoona Curve News Release
The Altoona Curve would like to extend a challenge to their fans in cyberspace with the Curve-Sea Dogs Facebook Challenge. Currently the Altoona Curve rank second in the Eastern League in Facebook fans behind only the Portland Sea Dogs (AA-Boston Red Sox). The Curve want to see that changed as the Sea Dogs come to Altoona for a three game series beginning Tuesday August 11th and running through Thursday August 13.
Currently, the Curve trail the Sea Dogs by approximately 1,140 fans, if this deficit is erased and the Curve surpass Portland in Facebook fans prior to the 12:00 p.m. on Thursday the Curve will reward all Facebook fans of the Curve with a redeemable coupon on Facebook for $2 grandstand tickets to Thursday night's 7:05 p.m. series finale with the Sea Dogs.
The Curve will keep fans updated on their progress throughout the week leading up the Thursday's series finale in their quest to be top dog in the Eastern League on the social networking front.
